She woke up before 4am that Saturday morning in November, she had trouble leaving her bed and would put her alarm on snooze. She entertained thoughts of staying in bed but deep down she knew she needed this.
Its not that she wasnt used to rising earlier than the sun to get to work on time. The distance between her home and the workplace, and because she relied on public transportation dictated that she wake up before dawn. And the transport system was rather slow on weekends, her endeavour was to catch the first train at her station.
Usually when it's weekend, there were a few individuals and groups who walked the streets from drinking at the local shebeen.
But the streets were silent and deserted that Saturday morning in November...
